Healthy habits is the theme of more than just Aaron's column this week. We're cutting back on the sugar for our ricotta and lemon scones, fruit loaf, fruit and vanilla snack balls and chewy carob bars.
We also baking our potatoes instead of frying them: Hasselback potatoes were one of the first things I made in Home Economics and Warren is riffing off his favourite Indian samosa with these masala baked potatoes. Mashed potato and kumara fritters will add a special touch to the dinner plate and were picking these homemade chippies will be popular.
Stir-frying is also a healthier cooking method and our noodle stir-fry is full of sweet juicy clams.
