Who could resist a book with this title and an illustrator called Marjolein Pottie? But rest assured if you are concerned about exposing young children to toilet humour (though they would no doubt thoroughly enjoy it) - this delightful picture book is simply about what makes the best bottom.
When Peacock is strutting unbearably about his gorgeous tail and, by extension, gorgeous bottom, he puts all the other animals on the defensive. Pig has a beautiful bottom too, he insists. It's "round and pink as a lollipop". He just doesn't go on about it.
Donkey rather cruelly claims that his bottom is far more elegant and much less tasty than Pig's, while all the other animals are sure they have the most attractive posterior.
The solution is to hold a Best Bottom competition, judged by the wise cow sisters. Kind and helpful Frog longs to enter, but she lacks a tail and, as the cows point out, what is a bottom without a tail? But Frog has a plan to beautify her bottom, and she may just win after all.
