KEY POINTS:
(8/10)
Superb but too short - that is U2's new album.
Then again, the album, Under a Blood Red Sky sells at a reduced price and this should compensate for the lack of songs.
Eight tracks hardly represent a live performance, but the songs chosen are nevertheless great.
Two each have been taken from Boy, October and War albums, with two previously unreleased numbers there as well.
The live performances come from concerts in America and West Germany. (Pity New Zealand was not included on the itinerary.)
Fans of U2 are truly devoted. There is no half way with these Irish wonders. And there is definitely no half way in U2's performances. This is a strong band with a strong sound and the live show surpasses studio efforts.
Best tracks are I Will Follow, Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Year's Day. Such a pity, though, the Two Hearts Beat as One was left out.
