In a beautiful gatefold cover, this deliciously pastoral outing by the UK duo of Nick Franglen and Fred Deakin is almost eerily seductive with its consistent downbeat but cheerful ambient feel, its delicately textured shifts of electronica and acoustic instruments, and a sense of weightlessness.
(No surprises that one track is Space Walk.) It is leisurely and the eight tracks meld into each other, distinguishable by the small vocal samples which lightly punctuate them. Delicate and undemanding, but thoroughly engaging.
If the lighter end of Air, Blue States or Groove Armada appeal, then you've just been offered more Sunday morning music of the most polite and charming kind.
