'What's your name?' the boy asked.
'Spid.'
'Mine's Henry.'
'Good morning, Henry.'

There was another pause.
Slowly the spider withdrew two feet. now he had four legs inside the plughole and four left outside.
A voice from downstairs shouted:
'Haven't you had your bath yet, Henry? Do hurry up!'
'Nice to have seen you, Spid,' said Henry.
'Yes,' said Spid.
He put three legs into the plughole at once.
'Go on,' said Henry with his hand on the taps, 'I don't want to drown you!'
'I know,' said Spid, ducking intot he plughole. He saw the bath plug descending on top of his head, and the light was shut out.
