"Now, Ryan."Dad came in and closed the door. "Not arguing with your aunt already, are you?"He hugged Greg and kissed Aunt Beth's cheek. "Great to have you both home. Ryan's a pretty good cook,"he joked, "but I'd like a change from mince and sausages."
Ryan frowned at the floor. Things aren't going to get any better. Aunt Beth still does things only for Greg. She doesn't care about anyone else. Dad doesn't appreciate anything I do, either, he thought.
When it came right down to it, Ryan was sick of everything revolving around Greg.
They'd cancelled their last holiday because Aunt Beth thought Greg would feel self-conscious if strangers stared at him in his wheelchair. She didn't ask Ryan what he wanted to do.
Dad had bought a computer. He said it was for both boys, but it was kept in Greg's room. Ryan used it whenever he wanted to, but he always felt he had to ask first.
