This month Bruce Lee would have turned 60. The statement is meaningless because he died at 33. Which is why books like this keep appearing.
Lee was, along with Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, one of the trinity of American legends who died young, leaving their legend to grow.
Lee, we are meant to assume from this book - on the basis of his one huge hit Enter the Dragon - would have become as big as Elvis. Maybe.
He was no actor, but he moved like a big, lean cat and looked great on screen.
Would he have still been making action movies in the time of The Matrix? No, but he definitely had more than one great film in him.
A homage to what might have been.
