It's just like the days of Di. This week, the royal family dominate two of the women's magazines.
And for a change in these days of royal tantrums, drunkenness and Nazi uniforms, it's all good clean fun.
The Woman's Weekly cover features Zara Phillips, former wild-child daughter of Princess Anne, who has turned her life around to become a top horse rider.
This, in the language of the mags, is "Zara's amazing transformation".
The story reveals that the one-time party girl and raunchy dresser got herself up at 5am and trained for 10 to 14 hours a day as she prepared for the eventing world championships, where she won a gold medal.
She now has high hopes of representing England at the Beijing Olympics.
But it's not all about hard work - that wouldn't make a royal fairytale. There has to be a love interest. The Weekly reveals that "equal credit" for Zara's success has to go to her boyfriend, England rugby player Mike Tindall.
"From the moment he moved into her house on the Gatcombe Estate, he has pushed her to work as hard as he does," says one of those ever-helpful, indiscreet "friends" who are always being quoted in the magazines.
Good for you, Mike. Where would Zara be without you?
The Woman's Day cover features Di's son, Prince William, and the revelation he's about to marry lover Kate Middleton.
The evidence for this development? They've got pictures of them looking "adoring and besotted" as they left a nightclub together recently.
"At 3.30am, they left longtime favourite Boujis with William ushering Kate gently through a throng, putting a protective hand on her back, before they both collapsed, giggling on the back seat of a Range Rover".
Sure sounds like love, doesn't it?
Okay, the Day admits, wedding plans are "still in pencil, not ink". They're not even engaged yet. But what the heck, it's time to blaze "Wedding of the Century" across the cover.
The New Idea has got a great scoop. It has pics of TomKat child Suri Cruise-Holmes and other Hollywood children from the future.
"After finally seeing baby Suri last week, we wondered what she'd be like in 20 years, along with other junior celebs," reports the Idea in its three-page computer-generated photo special of the Jolie-Pitt, Preston and Affleck kids. Weird.
Give us a good old royal story, any day.
