We came here because we'd been for lunch and were delighted to find they were now open for breakfast and brunch.
Parking was not an issue.
We walked in and immediately thought it really felt Middle Eastern. Loved the bookshelves lining the walls and the hookahs.
The most unusual thing on the menu was Ima's blintzes - crepes filled with vanilla and citrus ricotta with orange segments and syrup ($16). We were also impressed to learn that the eggs, bacon and ham are free range.
We ordered Middle eastern eggs poached on a bed of spinach with sumak ($13.50), Ima's grill - poached egg, homemade baked beans, sausages, bacon, slow-roasted tomato and potato cake ($18) and Greek and Bulgarian feta and spinach omelette ($12.50).
The service was attentive and friendly.
The coffee was just right.
We recommend if you come here make sure you're hungry. The servings are generous and so good you won't want to leave any.
Overall we thought this was the best brunch we'd had for a long time and we were impressed with that extra attention to detail in every dish to make it just that bit different. We also want to try out the dinner menu.
