By MARGIE THOMSON
There are all sorts of different ways of being brave and, for Lacey, her test comes when her parents decide (without consultation) to leave her beloved city and move to the country. Lacey seems a spoiled brat to start with (and her parents incredibly insensitive) but the story settles down after a few chapters and becomes a nice tale about fitting in, accepting difference, and so on. Lacey even starts playing rugby (but will the boys at her new country school reciprocate and learn to dance?) and in the end makes a pretty good fist of making, and recognising, her own luck. Ages 10-14.
