KEY POINTS:
A future generation of Auckland fashion fans filled Trelise Cooper Kids in Newmarket where they claimed front-row cushions to see the Winter 07 fashion parade.
After welcoming her guests to the show, Cooper stood back and let young models steal the limelight.
Featuring mini trench coats, striped tights and tulle skirts, the parade showcased the latest collection for the label, which launched last August.
Despite some minor traffic jams and the odd struggle to get coats off, the mini models delighted the audience with their sass and style - one even mastering the signature hair flick of a professional.
Those in the crowd also got their first taste of life in the fashion set, receiving their own goodie bag, complete with lollies and a pink skull-and-crossbones purse.
