Tamzin Hawkins loves kids and does "lots of babysitting", which may explain why she's so happy in her work.
Although her official title is sample co-ordinator for Trelise Cooper Kids, she also helps organise the shows and the styling.
The AUT fashion graduate also enjoys her work environment.
"Everybody is happy and laughing. It's lots of fun."
She also has her own line of handmade leather satchels under the Tamzin Hawkins label that her flatmate Stu Barr retails from his Butterfly Net store tucked behind Agnes Curran in Ponsonby.
Who are your favourite designers?
Comme des Garcons and Vivienne Westwood. I love how Comme des Garcons can transform a garment, by wearing it in another way, like turning it upside down - you have two garments for the price of one. I love the shock value of Vivienne Westwood. She takes fashion design to a whole other level.
What was the last item of clothing you bought?
A Trelise Cooper dress from this summer. It's high-waisted, with a self-covered belt in brown with cream polka dots and is such a cute '50s style - one of my favourite silhouettes.
Your biggest indulgence?
Vino and chocolate - every girl's weakness.
Your favourite accessory?
Belts. You can never have too many.
What inspires you?
Experience, nature, friendships, photos, drawings. I am constantly being inspired by different things.
Best fashion bargain?
The House of Raymonde dress I got in an op shop for $26. It's a cute bright red-and-orange striped dress, with a puff sleeve and a poppy print on the bodice.
What's on your must-have list for summer?
Sun, wine and sand.
Any rules you dress by?
No rules. I'm quite spontaneous with my dress sense, so I dress the way I'm feeling.
Who does the best shoes?
Manolo Blahnik. They're such sexy shoes.
The best bags?
Mine. They're leather bags sold at Butterfly Net.
What's the one thing everyone should have in their wardrobe?
Jandals. You can't get through summer without them.
Your worst fashion disaster?
My friends tell me I need to ditch my cut-off jeans, so I guess they could be, but they're my faves.
Is there anything you think the fashion police should ban?
Skirts which could be belts. Leave something to the imagination.
Your favourite shop?
Trelise Cooper Kids. It's every girl's dream store no matter how old you are.
What can't you live without?
Hanging out with friends, and my scooter.
Whose wardrobe would you most like to raid?
Sienna Miller. She's got a nice style.
What's your beauty routine?
Quick and simple - Pond's tinted moisturiser, Maybelline mascara and Sophia's Bronzer for the cheeks.
