Here's one for the "almost so bad it's good" category. Eamon is the whiny pop voice behind the bleeped out hit single, F**k it, I Don't Want You Back Now, armed with 15 other tracks in a similar vein, he claims to have invented a new genre: ho-wop.
To Eamon, chicks are all the same: promiscuous "bitches" as eager to please him as all his mates. When he's finished cussing about how he's god's gift to women in the sack, he's going on about his love/hate relationship with his endless string of low-life, big-bottomed exes.
It's a shame his lyrical taste is as mature as a hormonal 13-year-old because musically, he offers something a bit different. Sure, his voice is a little puny but the production is good, a mix of funky urban pop, piano-laden R&B and mellow hip-hop. So who knows if he's trying to be get publicity the easy way or if he's truly an idiot.
