Literary magazine Sport is a great forum for the up-and-coming, as well as the already-there - some of those in No 26 have not yet published a book, such as Anna Livesey, whose 2000 Macmillan Brown Prize-winning poetry sequence South Seas Analecta opens this volume, and Johanna Mary, whose intriguing, funny The Tale of Pearl Pink will have you looking up her web page, wanting to know more.
Tim Corballis, whose first novel Below will be published in July, is a Sport discovery.
Among the 14 other contributors is photographer Andrew Ross, whose 64-page portfolio titled Wellington Views is reproduced here, along with an expository essay on his work by Damien Wilkins. All good stuff.
