We came here because we were mainly curious about the name.
Parking was no problem. Although the streets surrounding the complex are pay and display, we chanced on a residential side road, with a spare free spot.
We walked in and immediately thought the photos of America's Wild West history were an interesting touch - and explained the name of the restaurant.
The most unusual thing on the menu was nothing really, fairly standard fare on the breakfast and lunch menus.
We ordered the corn fritters with smoked salmon and capers, which came with green salad, roasted vine tomatoes, salsa and sour cream ($17) and the royal scramble eggs with chopped venison sausage, red onions, mozzarella cheese, roasted baby potatoes, vine tomatoes and caramelised onions on Turkish bread ($15.90). The presentation was excellent and the servings both made good-sized meals.
The service was friendly and efficient.
The coffee was just right.
We recommend if you come here, even if you sit on the terrace outside, take time to look at the photos on the walls inside.
Overall we thought Buffalo could have done a little more to make a theme of its name, but the food was fine.
