A dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the film Breakfast at Tiffany's has sold at auction for $US192,000 ($NZ266,630) - more than six times what the auctioneers expected.
The pink dress, worn for the scene in which Holly Golightly discovers her brother has died, sold to a private European buyer at a Christie's sale of film and entertainment memorabilia in New York. The auction house said it had expected the dress to sell for up to $US30,000.
