To be honest, this book will never win an award for literary excellence.
It is full of rather wet jokes, crazy cartoons, nasty stories about bad people, and silly rhymes like: There was a rude girl called Ruth Penny who thought non-stop burping was funny. But one day in the yard she burped a little too hard, and the burp came out all wet and runny.
Of course, all this bad content will make this book irresistible to children, especially boys who are fans of Captain Underpants and The Simpsons.
It will make a great stocking filler this Christmas but, be warned, some parents might find the anarchic humour from this talented Australian duo somewhat inappropriate.
