This self-cream guinea pig is described by animal assistant Julie Fletcher as "unusual" because of her distinctive Champagne colouring.
"It's the first time we've seen a guinea pig in here like it," she said. The female guinea pig was surrendered to the SPCA on December 16 and loves to hide in boxes.
"The advantage of getting a guinea pig from the SPCA is they are already desexed," said SPCA representative Craig Montgomery. "Many people don't realise we have guinea pigs here."
To adopt her, or another animal in need, contact your local SPCA. The guinea pig's village ID is 106386.
