They sound like thousands of other bands. But, it has to be said, the difference between all the others and these four lads from 48 May - Jon Astin (vocals, guitar), Captain Hook (guitar, vocals), Jarod Brown (drums, vocals) and Shannon Brown (bass, vocals) - is that they make it sound better than most.
Their harmonies - all four sing - are huge, their melodies solid, and man are they tight.
Ultimately, however, it's a singles album if ever there was one, and those singles are good.
Leather and Tattoos has stayed around the top of the singles charts for weeks and before that we had Come Back Down, and the song that got them noticed, Fight Back. But to be safe, either go and see 48 May live or make sure you're jumping round and singing along to this album when it's on.
Otherwise, you might not manage to get all the way through it.
