A heartbroken US father who put his daughter up for adoption 39 years ago has been reunited following a plea on social media.
Jerry Miller had put his baby girl up for adoption after doctors told him he needed surgery for a brain aneurysm and would probably be dead or in a vegetative state.
The Indiana man survived and recovered from surgery, and attempted to regain custody of his daughter. But he was denied.
According to Miller, authorities had said he signed the adoption papers, but the father was adamant he didn't.
His request to see the files and find out more information about his daughter was blocked.
