'I could eat healthier, I could drink less': Melissa McCarthy refuses to change her bad habits

Melissa McCarthy has carved a niche in the movies with her hilarious expletive-laced tirades and physical antics.

The plus-size Bridesmaids actress is just as "fearless" and "funny" on the subject of her weight in the summer issue of Rolling Stone hitting newsstands on Friday.

McCarthy, 43, who has struggled with her weight in the past, remained unapologetic when it comes to her "self-destructive" habits, as the magazine put it.
and physical antics.

"I could eat healthier, I could drink less," the comedic actress told the magazine. "I should be learning another language and working out more, but I'm just always saying, 'Ah, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow.'"

She didn't seem too bothered when New York Observer film critic Rex Reed labeled her "tracter-size" and a "hippo" in his unflattering review of Identity Thief last year.

As for those famous monologues in films such as Bridesmaids and This Is 40, McCarthy can't seem to recall ever doing them.

As the end credits of This Is 40 flit by, the actress is featured mouthing off on Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, "I would like to rear up and jackknife my legs and kick you both in the f***g jaw with my foot bone. That's what I would f***g love. I wish my f***g would go right through your skull.:"

"When I saw that scene, I really truly didn't remember saying most of it," Melissa told Rolling Stone.
