Mariah Carey's diva demands have proven too much for Hong Kong.
Concert organisers say they have been forced to cancel a show the singer was scheduled to perform in the bustling Asian city.
While Carey's record label Universal claimed financial default by the promoters, the organisers fought back saying the former chart-topping singer failed to draw a decent crowd.
Only 4,000 of the available 10,000 tickets to Carey's concert had sold.
In a statement released to the media, the organisers said: "As promoters of the Mariah Carey Hong Kong concert we have decided to cancel the event effective immediately due to both the poor response of public ticket sales and also due to specific last-minute demands which we find wholly unreasonable and not with the best interests of Hong Kong, us and also the fans."
Carey has developed a reputation for her outlandish requests, which have included live animals to keep her company backstage, Cristal champagne with bendy straws and bottles of Evian water.
It is also reported the Emancipation of Mimi singer refuses to walk up stairs and that she once required four vehicles to carry her supplies during a tour of China, including 350 pairs of shoes.
