Historic art on show

An exhibition of paintings by an 18th-century landscape artist who sailed with Captain Cook and visited New Zealand opens in London this year.


William Hodges' paintings of New Zealand and the Pacific were a revelation for European audiences. Many works have not been on display since Hodges' lifetime.
