Higgins top nominee at ARIAs

She's been toiling away at conquering the US market but Missy Higgins still what it takes to impress audiences back home in Australia.

The young singer boasts seven Australian Recording Industry Association Award nominations and may follow in the footsteps of previous big winners Delta Goodrem and Jet.

"The last 12 months have been full of amazing things but these nominations feel particularly special and, frankly, just a bit weird," Higgins said.
