Two of India's biggest singing stars will serenade Prime Minister Helen Clark next weekend.
Singers Shankar Mahadevan and Sadhna Sargam perform a one-off concert at the Logan Campbell Centre on May 7 and the Prime Minister is No 1 on the guest list.
Mahadevan and Sargam are Bollywood playback singers - they're the ones who actually sing the songs in the movies, rather than the on-screen heroes.
"They're massive in India and they're celebrities in their own right," says Shriram Iyer, the concert organiser and leader of Indian music group Taal Se Taal Mila.
Clark is a fan of Bollywood movies and when she visited India earlier this year she met some of the genre's biggest stars, including Hritik Roshan. Roshan has filmed two of his hit movies in New Zealand.
