A guitar played by George Harrison of the Beatles has sold for US$567,500 ($785,115), topping the bill at what auction house Christie's said was its biggest sale of show business memorabilia.
The Gibson SG electric guitar, played by Harrison from 1966 to 1969, was the star attraction of more than 400 lots, from guitars and clothing to scraps of paper signed by stars.
