Pupils at St Joseph's Catholic School in Takapuna on Auckland's North Shore were among hundreds of people nationwide who wore wigs yesterday to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation.
"Wig Wednesday", which the Foundation intends to make annual, encouraged schools and businesses to wear wigs and share pictures of them on social media.
Money raised will help support Kiwi children with cancer and their families.
