Grease favourite musical for Brits

Grease has been voted the British public's all-time number one musical.

The 1978 film beat the likes of Cats, Les Miserables and West Side Story in the poll, which asked people to name their favourite show from stage or screen.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show, both a 1975 comedy-horror film and a British stage musical created by Richard O'Brien, came second in the poll, and The Phantom of the Opera was third.
