Goodrem philosophical about break-up

Dealing with her very public break-up from tennis star Mark Philippoussis was simply part and parcel of her job, says Australian singer Delta Goodrem.

Philippoussis and Goodrem, 20, ended their long-distance relationship last month amid reports that the tennis player had taken up with American hotel heiress Paris Hilton.

Appearing on Channel Ten's Rove Live, Goodrem said she was focusing on positives like her tour next year.

Hilton reportedly sprang her surprise during a shopping trip in West Hollywood, where she named Philippoussis as her new man.

The tennis star denied the reports and said the pair were only friends.

Goodrem has launched her second album, Mistaken Identity, saying the first single, Out of the Blue, written about Philippoussis, still meant a lot to her.
