Hi, my name's Sean Havers and everything you read here took place quite a few years back when I was only eleven years old.
At that time I lived with my mum in Hamilton and my life was about as exciting as watching grass grow in a cemetery.
That's the kind of thing my Uncle Quinn would say and he features quite a bit in this story ... but I'd better not jump too far ahead. it's best to keep things in order.
My less than adventurous lifestyle was really my mum's fault because of her being so overprotective of me.
I was about three when my dad died of a heart attack, which didn't seem very fair. he certainly wasn't a prime candidate -- only 30 years old, didn't drink or smoke, wasn't overweight and he exercised regularly. I suppose it was just one of those things.
I never really missed him because I never really knew him and Mum never talked about him much. The one thing I do know is that after Dad died Mum seemed to get even more over protective.
