Girl receives incredibly passive aggressive breakup text

A girl has received a lot of sympathy online after she shared the sad tale of her recent breakup.

Let's face it, if you're going to break up with someone, texting them is probably one of the least respectful ways to go about it.

One guy seems to have taken the disrespect one step further with the subtly brutal text of his message.

His ex-girlfriend took to Twitter to share the exchange.

"I do wanna say something tho. I'm sort of busy everyday now for the rest of this year and have concentrate on the things I have to do each day," her ex wrote.

Is it rude? Not explicitly. But we can all agree "I'm busy everyday for the rest of the year" is definitely harsh, in all its polite subtlety.

Sure, no one really knows the context of what led to the breakup but, regardless, there are better ways to go about it.

Twitter users expressed sympathy for the girl and one even tweeted back, "I'm free this year ... so wassup?"
