Game of Thrones author, George RR Martin, has revealed the details of his whirlwind tour to Australia and New Zealand.
The author will touch down in Brisbane on November 8 for a sci-fi convention where he will be joined by stars of the popular television series his books inspired.
He will head to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide before making his last stop in Wellington on November 22. His only public appearance will be a book signing at Whitcoulls at 12.30pm.
"(My wife) Parris and I love Australia and New Zealand and have lots of friends there, so we're looking forward eagerly to returning. (Though I do rather wish it wasn't coming up so fast, I have so much else to do)," the author writes on his blog, Not a Blog.
