The Te Awamutu Lions' Food & Wine Festival will feature local wineries, brewers, Prenzel liquors, and fruit and vegetable growers. A butcher will fire up the barbecue, and there will be live music throughout the day, plus a puppet show for the kids. It's in Selwyn Park (behind the information centre) on March 18, 10am-6pm.
