Fugitive quick on the draw

The ex-wife of country music star Garth Brooks was kidnapped at gunpoint by Quintine Harper, 24, who worked on her farm, after she let a bail bondsman on the property to arrest the worker.

But Harper pulled out a gun, forced Brooks into a car and drove off. He later fled after stopping at a store but was caught and charged.

The Brooks were married for 15 years and have three children.
