Disney has bought the rights to a children's book written and illustrated by Ahmet Zappa, the son of the rock musician Frank Zappa.
Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless will not be published until next year, but Disney paid US$1.5 million ($2.13 million) for the book after whirlwind negotiations that beat out rival bids.
