You might associate a toned physique and ability to run for miles with being "healthy" but two experts beg to differ.
Cindy Geyer, MD, and dietitian Rachael Hartley, told Insider that health has "absolutely nothing" to do with your appearance or penchant for the gym, reports the Daily Mail.
In fact, the duo cite the World Health Organisation, which officially defines health as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."
They shared the four tell-tale signs that you're extremely healthy, so how healthy are you?
1. You eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full: Lots of people eat for the sake of it and overeat until they're in a painful "food coma". But the experts say one of the truest signs of optimal health is having a good relationship with food and knowing how to trust your internal cues, rather than external ones.
