Prince William and wife Kate look set to break royal tradition when they visit New Zealand in April.
The tradition dictates that direct heirs to the throne - in this case William and baby George - should not fly on the same plane when travelling overseas.
Previous generations of the royal family, including the Queen, carried out tours without their children, who were left behind with governesses - or royal nannies.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plan to fly with their son, who will be 9 months old, according to British newspaper reports.
The royals will be overseas for almost a month visiting New Zealand first and then Australia.
