Surrounded by fluffies and long blacks, Woody looked every bit the top cat at the opening of central Auckland's first cat cafe.
BaristaCats opened on Queen St yesterday and customers Robyn Nuthall and Roger Woods were among those who came to enjoy a cuppa and kitties.
The cafe, launched by owner Julia Whitehead with the support of $15,000 in PledgeMe donations, features 11 different cats from rescue shelters.
The business charges $15 for an hour with the cats and that includes a complimentary hot beverage.
