A 5-year-old boy who tried a pair of his parents' handcuffs on has had to be cut free.
According to 7 News, the Victorian boy found the handcuffs in his parents' bedroom drawer but was unable to get free after his mother lost the key.
He was taken to Narre Warren police station as officers attempted to set the boy free.
Eventually, a Country Fire Authority firefighter was called to the station who managed to free the child after using bolt cutters.
The material makeup of the handcuffs is not yet known.
