Eleanor Fraser, 3, had a whirl of a time on the merry-go-round at her first Auckland Easter Show.
Regardless of the rain and wind, she was delighted with her experience of the annual event yesterday. "Yeah, it was fun," she said.
More than 35,000 people streamed through the gates on Friday after organisers dropped the entry fee of previous years.
Until this year, the biggest turnout was 16,000 people.
The 173rd show wraps up tomorrow night with a fireworks display at 9pm.
