Festival of whisky for Christchurch

The country's first whisky festival will be held in Christchurch in February.

DramFest '07 is the brainchild of Michael Fraser Milne, owner of the country's only dedicated whisky shop.

"There are a great many malt whisky fans in New Zealand," Mr Milne said.

"We wanted to give them an opportunity to get together, taste some wonderful whiskies, and have a lot of fun."
