Equally amused another wrote: "I wonder what was on the mind of the person who designed the fur shawl for the Fendi winter range?"
Others pointed out that the scarf bore an even more uncanny resemblance when flipped the other way round.
However, while some were amused by the coincidence others admitted they were "appalled" by the use of fox fur on the scarf.
One user tweeted: "I am both highly amused by this @Fendi shawl which has a distinct vagina vibe, and appalled that it's trimmed in real fox fur.
"Lols and disgust in equal measure for the bargain price of just £750."
Another added: "It's a pale pink scarf with a border of fox fur (yep, real fox fur, which we're not impressed with). HORRENDOUS!"
Despite the adverse reaction to the garment it is entirely sold out on designer website Farfetch.
Fendi is one of the few designer labels to still use real animal fur after Peta campaigns have seen dozens of designers switch to faux fur to which creative director Karl Lagerfeld has resisted.
Peta UK Director Mimi Bekhechi previously told The Independent: "Fendi's 'haute horreur' and their hiring of Karl Lagerfeld, who dresses like an undertaker and enjoys putting corpses into his collections, is all quite shameful and pathetic."
But Lagerfeld replied: "It's very easy to say no fur, no fur, no fur, but it's an industry.
"Who will pay for all the unemployment of the people if you suppress the industry of the fur? The hunters in the north for the sable, they have no other job, there is nothing else to do. Those organizations who are much against it, they are not Bill Gates."
