New Zealand Fashion Week is kicking off with a bubbly celebration in Auckland this evening.
Dozens of excited guests have dressed up for the week's official opening ceremony at the Viaduct Events Centre.
Decked-out models are on show for the opening event, with onlookers enjoying the live display between champagne sips and hors d'oeuvres.
Evening formalities are expected to begin shortly, with Fashion Week's Dame Pieter Stewart, Supercity mayor Len Brown and National MP Nikki Kaye expected to speak.
A short performance from Cirque du Soleil's Totem is also scheduled.
