She is surrounded by fashion at work every day, so it's not at all surprising to find that Georgie Urlich's own wardrobe is also very stylish.
Urlich works at Showroom 22, a fashion PR agency that looks after a roster of labels including some of New Zealand's best young design talent - think Juliette Hogan, Twenty-seven Names, Salasai and Alexandra Owen.
Urlich started at Showroom 22 in November last year, straight from completing a communications degree majoring in PR at AUT.
Since then she has helped organise events, media showings, and even shown Vogue's Andre Leon Talley through garments in the showroom when he was here filming America's Next Top Model last year.
Needless to say, she loves her job.
"I love that every day I am communicating with creative and talented people - writers, designers, stylists - within the fashion industry."
She lets us take a peek inside her wardrobe.
What was the last item of clothing you bought?
A fur jacket from Kate Sylvester's "Diamond Dogs" winter collection. I have been desperately waiting for it ever since I saw it in her show at NZ Fashion Week last year.
Best trend for winter?
Stripes are my most favourite trend this season. I have always been a little obsessed with stripes; it is such a classic and clean look but one that has been forgotten for a little too long I think. Best labels doing stripes this season? Karen Walker and Petit Bateau.
Who are your favourite designers?
Locally it would have to be Karen Walker, Juliette Hogan and Twenty-seven Names. Internationally I love Alexander Wang, Chloe, Marni and Miu Miu.
Who or what inspires you?
My fashion books really inspire me, I can look through them for hours. Especially my book on Balenciaga, which tells the story of Cristobal Balenciaga who came from a small town in Spain and had the option of either being a fisherman or a priest, but instead followed his dream and built a fashion empire.
What do you really want for winter?
I really want a dress or romper suit by Opening Ceremony, which is now being stocked at Fabric.
Favourite fashion-y movie?
Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn was so beautiful and she looked so classic and stylish in everything she wore.
You feel best wearing?
I love wearing anything floaty. My favourite "floaty" item would be my Juliette Hogan floor length pleated skirt, I always feel pretty when I wear it.
Is there anything you think the fashion police should ban?
I think sneakers with work clothes is the most terrible look. It is very unflattering and I have never understood it.
Most cherished item?
My parents' wedding ring my mum gave to me for my 21st. I wear it every day and it is something that I will have forever.
Your best beauty tip?
Always moisturise. If you don't your skin produces extra oil which causes break-outs. My favourite is Avene Hydrance Optimale Light.
Whose wardrobe would you most like to raid?
Chloe Sevigny's. She has such an individual style and must own an amazing collection of cute dresses and shoes.
Best way to recycle your old clothes?
Trade Me is definitely the best way to recycle old clothes. You have to stick at it though and be prepared to sell you clothes for a bit less than you may think they are worth.
What's the one thing everyone should have in their wardrobe?
Everyone should have a beautiful pair of designer shoes. They may be expensive but they will last forever and update any look.
Your favourite shop?
The Department Store is my favourite one-stop shop. You can get your hair done at Stephen Marr, a manicure at Lucy and The Powder room, a new dress from Karen Walker or Black Box and of course from April have a peruse at the latest items from Topshop.
Never caught wearing?
The colour black. Every so often I try to buy a black dress, but I end up never wearing it - as a colour I think it is very boring.
