Classic with a preppy flavour. My staples are jeans, Chucks and a tailored blazer.
How has your style evolved?
It's simplified with more structure - no more Hammer pants (although I did think they were awesome at the time).
Any style icons, or people who influence your style?
The effortless style of Emmanuelle Alt, the editor of Vogue Paris, is faultless - simple and understated; you really can't go wrong with that. I also love Rachel Bilson's style and I have always admired how Mary-Kate Olsen can pull together an outfit.
Who is your favourite designer?
I believe the longer you're in the fashion industry the stronger your designs become, so I turn to homegrown heavyweights like Zambesi and Karen Walker most seasons. There are so many talented designers in the New Zealand fashion industry though; it's hard to pick a favourite. If I'm heading offshore, you can't go past the tailored designs of Stella McCartney or the simplicity of Alexander Wang and Chloe.
Your most recent purchase?
My red J-Brand jeans. They make me feel happy when I put them on.
What's on your wishlist to buy for summer?
Lots of bright colours, floaty pleats and a pair of retro sunglasses I'm lusting after. I may also experiment with flares if I'm brave enough.
Your favourite stylish places?
I love people-watching and find the best time to see real style is when people aren't trying: out to brunch, at Auckland's awesome new art gallery, at the park.
Chain stores: love or hate?
Love. Fashion to me is all about mixing fast fashion with treasured, timeless pieces.
What products are always in your makeup bag - and why do you love them?
My M.A.C. Studio Moisture Tint and Smashbox Halo Powder to disguise those late nights. I also won't go anywhere without my Elle Mercier mascara - it doesn't budge.
What is the best outfit you've ever worn?
It's a bit cheesy but my Zambesi wedding dress. The detail and fit were perfection and the fact that it rolled up to become a hot little number for the dance floor made it even better.
Who are the best dressed man and woman in NZ?
I should probably say my stylish husband Al, but his paisley slippers rule him out. So I would have to go with my mate Jamie Duff, from Stolen Rum, who always impresses me when he walks into the office with his "gentleman-meets-Keith Richards" style. In terms of ladies, my friend Toyah Atwell is as stylish as they come, she always has a piece of clothing on that I have to have.
What is your handbag, and what is always in it?
My go-to is my black Chloe "Marcie" bag as it can fit everything I need throughout the day: makeup bag, the 10 or so lip balms that somehow find their way in, iPhone, electrolytes (my secret hangover cure), emergency snacks and usually my laptop, as it seems to be glued to me these days.
