Kylie Jenner is being mercilessly mocked for not knowing how to wash her face properly after she shared a video of herself quickly using her new Kylie Skin foaming cleanser - and failing to actually remove her makeup.
The 21-year-old beauty mogul, who debuted her now sold-out skincare line last week, shared a 35-second clip of her "morning and night" routine on the Kylie Skin Twitter and Instagram accounts on Monday.
Fans were baffled that Kylie used a floral filter to demonstrate how she uses her $24 cleanser, and they were even more alarmed to see her foundation smeared all over the hand towel she used to dry off her face when she was done.
In the short video, the reality star holds the bottle up to the camera before pumping some of the foaming face wash onto her hand. She rubs it over the center of her face - ignoring the sides, even though they are likely covered in foundation.
Kylie leaves the cleanser on for less than 10 seconds before haphazardly washing it off with two splashes of water. She then dries her face with a white towel, which ends up covered in leftover foundation.
The video has received more than seven million views on Twitter, but many people were less than impressed by the footage.
Critics quickly slammed Kylie for her face-washing technique and pointed out that she did such a poor job that her washcloth was covered with makeup.
Another added: "20 second wash + no exfoliation = leftover makeup & dirt. Smh."
"This just proves that Kylie did no type of research and doesn't know what she's doing at all, not even caring she might be damaging her fans faces with horrible advice," someone else insisted.
This video is giving me I don't wash my legs vibes

There were plenty of people who were left with questions after viewing the footage, including one woman who asked: "Shouldn't you wash your face for 1-2 minutes?"
"This how you wash your face when you can buy new skin," someone else snidely tweeted, while another person added: "I can't trust this sis. You washed it off too quick."
One Twitter user couldn't resist joking that Kylie "used her make up as a cover so her skin wouldn't have actual contact with the product."
While many agreed that it takes longer than a mere 10 seconds to let the ingredients in the product to activate, it's possible that Kylie does dedicate more time to washing her face and only sped up the process to film the short clip.
However, that doesn't explain her use of a floral filter for a skincare video, which many people just couldn't get over.
"Mam, the filter defeats the purpose of us seeing whatever effects your product has done to your skin..." one Twitter user commented.
Some were even upset that she didn't tie her long hair back before washing her face, with one person writing: "The fact that she didn't tie her hair back irks me a bit."
One critic compared it to a cringe-worthy clip of Shay Mitchell demonstrating how she uses Biorรฉ's micellar water to remove eye makeup - without actually removing it.
Idk what's worse? This or when Miss Shay Mitchell thought she could get away with not rubbing her eye on the cotton round?? ๐๐คง pic.twitter.com/cXezlTePms
"Yup, trying to get that buzz going lol," someone else agreed. "Any publicity is good publicity."
However, this isn't the first time Kylie has gotten flack for her skincare line.
Right before it launched, fans and skincare experts slammed her walnut face scrub, claiming it can leave micro-tears in the skin that cause premature aging.
Despite criticism, Kylie Skin has plenty of fans who couldn't wait to get their hands on the six different products featured in the line.
"I'm honestly so impressed that I really believe I'll never use anything else. So that $133 was completely worth it to feel beautiful!" one person tweeted about the set.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder first revealed she was expanding her billion dollar empire with a skincare line on May 10.
The entrepreneur announced the news on Instagram with a sultry makeup-free photo of herself with glowing skin, revealing the launch date for Kylie Skin was May 22. After the line quickly sold out, she revealed they will be restocking on June 5.
