Fans of former Beatle Paul McCartney started queuing three days early outside a central London bookstore to attend a signing of his new children's book, High in the Clouds.
McCartney said his book, following the adventures of character Wirral the Squirrel, was inspired by his commitment to animal rights.
The bookstore, Waterstone's, gave out several hundred special wristbands to guarantee a meeting with the star.
