US media reports say Britney Spears' fans welcome her decision to file for divorce from Kevin Federline.

News of Spears' decision to divorce Federline came after two years of marriage, and only two months after the birth of their second child.

People magazine cited a source close to Federline as saying that the last straw for Spears was when Federline flew to Las Vegas for a nightclub party just three weeks after the birth of the couple's second son.
