Red Hot Chili Peppers have entered the record books as one of the 100 most successful recording artists.
The Guinness British Hit Singles and Albums book ranks artists each year according to how many weeks they have spent in the British singles and albums charts. This year the Red Hot Chili Peppers are the only new entry.
Those who have a chance of getting in next year include Britney Spears, Eminem, Westlife, Radiohead and Iron Maiden.
Elvis Presley tops the list, having notched up 2463 weeks in the British singles and albums charts - longer than his 42-year lifespan.
