Fan pays thousands to have J-Lo's jeans painted on

One cashed-up Australian fan has paid A$8000 ($8924) to have Jennifer Lopez' jeans painted on to her body.

The star's denim strides were painted on by artist Wendy Arnold.

They went under the hammer with dozens of celebrity jeans at the annual Jeans for Genes charity auction at Sydney Town Hall.

The event raised A$175,000 ($195,214) towards a study into the causes of genetic childhood illnesses.
